Chakras for Beginners: Chakras - The 7 Chakras Guide On How to Balance your Energy Body through Chakra Healing (Spirituality, Holism, Mindfulness, Yoga, Reiki, Meditation, Zen) Kindle Edition

This book is totally different from what I normally read and review, but I just felt the need to share this one. I really enjoyed and learned from this book.
I gave this book 5 stars; This book was exactly what I was looking for, it is not long and it explains everything to the T. It's very easy to understand and follow.
For a while now, I’ve been wanting to read and learn about Chakras and how I can balance my own, but there are a lot of books out there and it was too overwhelming trying to figure out which book to choose. This book was the answer to my prayer and it was exactly what I wanted.
This is a great way to start learning for beginners! I recommend this book to those who are new or just learning about their chakras and want to know how to heal/balance your own in a simple matter.
I can't wait to start my chakra healing!

My Review
Always Been Mine By: Carina Adams

This is one story you do not want to miss out!

I was asked to read an ARC of this debut novel from a fellow blogger. As soon as I started to read the novel I immediately fell in love with the story and the characters, the love and friendship that they have. I was sucked in the story from beginning to end. The story felt so realistic and believable I laughed and cried, I got angry, I was nervous and excited, but most important I felt the love.
I never like to give away too much of the plot because I like for readers to be as surprise and excited as I was when reading and finishing the book, but the synopsis says it all. This is truly one story not to miss out on! I am looking forward to more novels from author Carina Adams. For being her first novel she did an amazing job writing it. And I give it 5 stars.

"Mary Ting you've done it again and I can’t wait for the next book"!

       Etenrnity By MaryTing

I have been waiting for this book and I finally have it! What can I say? Words escape me.
Painting a beautiful picture with your words, Mary Ting… again you did it girl; you wrote a beautiful, passionate, true love, true friendship story. Everything from this series was astounding and beautifully written…a page turner. Grab the tissue box because Mary Ting has touched our hearts again with yet another incredible story.
From beginning to end I was just lost in the characters and their moments. Once again Michael’s & Claudia’s love is in jeopardy. Crossroads Saga continues and this time Michael’s past comes back to haunt him.  Dantanian, a fallen angel and an old friend but now an enemy of Michael wants him back on his side and will do anything to make him go back to being who he was, even if it means hurting his love ones. Michael, Claudia and the whole gang are at it again, fighting fallen angels…lots of action going on here. Love really has no boundaries when it comes to Claudia and Michael, their love is for Eternity.
A great ending to a perfect series! It saddens me to know that this is the end, but none the less it was one amazing ride.

“Multiply my love by infinity and take it to the depths of forever, and you still have only a glimpse of how I feel for you.  I love you more.” (Michael to Claudia)

“Halo City”
By Mary Ting

When a massive group of angels known as nephilim—half human, half angel—had been found by the Royal Council, they were taken to Halo City. Instead of cleansing the Earth with a flood, which had been done before, the Royal Council created a place just for this group of angels. While they were being taken, one of the Twelve, Aden, rebelled and convinced many of the new alkins to join his cause—to live freely among the humans and take over Crossroads.
After the fall of Aden and his followers, Michael was taken to Halo City to heal. Not only did Michael have a difficult time settling into his new environment, he had conflicting issues regarding his past. Upon meeting the alkins, one in particular, Davin, refused to give up on helping him deal with his struggles. Together, they discovered a strange being that would appear at the Crossroads at unexpected times. Souls wandering there was nothing new, but this one aged as time passed. Mystified, they both searched for answers while refraining from telling the Twelve about her. Who was this being that had enraptured Michael’s attention? And will Michael finally forgive himself and find the happiness that he yearned to have?

“Halo City” Book Review
By Mary Ting

Halo City Novella helps understand Michael a better. We get to see how he becomes the leader of the alkins and how he and Davin, Vivian & Caleb become friends. We also get to see through Michael's point of view when he first saw Claudia and fell for her. I personally love Davin, his jokes, his playfulness, & mischievous ways. I like how this Novella translates into the first book in the series. Well done Mary Ting.

Something Great A New Adult Series By M.Clarke Be advise 18 and older. Due to sexual content.

She didn't know what she was missing…until he found her.

Maxwell Knight was positively trouble, dangerously good-looking, and seductively charming. He was everything Jenna didn't need in her life. Only Max didn't see it that way. His pursuit was relentless, making Jenna even more determined to push him away. All she wanted was security, a career, and love that was everlasting.

Fresh out of college, life was simple and plain for Jeanella Mefferd, but she liked it that way. Every part of her life was smooth sailing; her friends, her job, and even the guy she’d started dating. Then one night, while at dinner with her best friend, she spotted someone who made her feel things she’d never felt before just by his mere presence—dangerous, heart pounding, breathless heat. Thinking she would never see him again, she brushed it off, but when she started to run into him unexpectedly, all she could think of was how he made her feel with his sweet flirtations. Everything about Maxwell Knight screamed trouble, especially when she found out he was her new boss’s son. Now, heading to a New York fashion show she’d dreamt about since she was a child, would she be able to focus on her career instead of Max, who had been scheduled to attend with her? As much as she tried to forget their encounters, his good looks, charm, smooth words, and determination to win her over gravitated her toward him. The next thing she knew, he was utterly consuming her, mind and body, and in places she’d never thought possible. Would she be willing to step over the boundary and risk her safety net? Was she willing to take advice from her best friend and love hard and risk getting hurt, rather than not really love at all and possibly miss out on finding something great?

My Review
I was given this book from the author for an honest review and from the very start was told that it was an adult book. As I started to read the book I immediately started to like it.
The story is about Jenna, a young girl recently out of collage her life was simple and plain, and she liked it that way. Every part of her life was going at a smooth pace; her friends, her job and even the guy she is dating.
One night having dinner with her best friend she spotted this gorgeous sexy looking man (Maxwell Knight) whom she never thought he would even give her the time of day, but he made her feel things she never felt before. Everything about him said trouble, but she couldn't help the strong connection she felt towards him. Thinking she would never see him again, she brushed it off as nothing, until she started running into him at the least unexpected places.
This story is romantic, seductive and sexy with class. As I read I found myself falling in love with Max, he is just the ideal guy, has it all and a very good lover may I add. It was a page turner for me. I read it 3 times and each time I loved it even more. I love all the characters in the book as well. An adult book with class! Looking forward to book 2!
I give Something Great 5 stars.

My Review
Pretty Little Lies has it all, love, romance, friendship, fashion, betrayal and suspense.  A story that I believe anyone can relate to in one way or another. I was lost in this book from beginning to end. I felt every emotion that the lead character went through. I really liked how it was written. It’s also a bit hilarious and every chapter has a fashion tip. I like how it ties in with the chapters. Over all it is a BEAUTIFUL Story.
For being Jennifer Miller’s first novel she did a fantastic job. I can totally see a movie coming out from this beautiful story..
Spoiler Alert! The cliffhanger gets you good!

Can’t wait for the next book! Please hurry Jennifer Miller I don’t know how much I can take of this.

Shine: How to Walk the Talk by Nancy Segovia
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Shine How To Walk the Talk
…Is a well written book, an easy read, her chapters are short and she gets to the point. I highly recommend it to anyone who is need of God in their lives.
This book couldn’t have come to me at a better time. As I started to read the book I felt like God was sending me a message I found myself in the author’s shoes. We all long for something in our lives not realizing that that something is God and letting his light shine through us. Nancy Segovia tells us how God taught her to live so that others can see his love in her life. I kept reading & by the time I was in chapter 3 I found myself crying, not because the book is sad but because I finally understand.
I was very inspired.
Five stars for this amazingly inspiring little book.

(Synopsis of the book)

He breaks the most sacred rule the clan has, Never Bite A Human--and thus creates a creature he must track down and kill.

I give this book...5 STARS!
I was captivated by the Authors book. I really enjoyed it! This book has everything, love, friendship, magic, action, heartbreak and suspense. It is full of magic and it takes you to places; beautiful and magical places. She gives you different point of views. You go from one scene to another but the story always coincides within. The romance is absolutely beautiful. The action is awesome and the magic is just amazing. You have your hero Jonah and his pack, and the evil entity Ralph that the hero Jonah created by accident, and it has a thirst to kill.
I liked how Joann made Ralph seem so evil, ugly & horrific. It gives it this scary movie kind of feeling in some parts; at least it did for me. As I was reading I kept telling myself this would make an awesome movie! I have to admit that I did cry a little towards the end of the book. It is very descriptive and well written; I can't wait to read the second book. I highly recommend this book to everyone. Well done Joann!

Immortal Embrace, by: Charlotte Blackwell

Sophia, the vampire girl, and her family, all vampires, relocated to a small town to live among humans. Sophia and her siblings started going to school and on her first day, she bumped into the hottest guy named Nathanial; who has never shown interest in girls before because he just focus on his studies and football. She doesn't understand why she is drawn to him, other than him smelling so delicious to her.

I gave it 3 stars, and here is why.

I have mixed feelings about this book. From the beginning, I was like wait a minute haven't I read this before? It felt too Twilight-ish, meets Charmed and Vampire Diaries. It was all 3 combined into one book. You have...

Vampires: They don't sparkle. They wear "a piece of jewelry" that has been blessed by a witch so they can walk in daylight, eat regular food and bring up their temperature.

Nathanial falls head over heels for Sophia instantly, and feels that they are meant to be forever. Sophia and her family have powers. They can read minds, heal, see the future, and ect.

Witches: Two of the most powerful witches that inherit their powers from all their ancestors before them, they even have their own "Book of Shadows". (Hmm now where have I seen that? Oh yea The Charmed Ones)

...and before I forget somewhere in the middle she throws in some werewolves.

What I like about this book was that when I read the summary I read that it had Vampires and Witches, immediately that caught my attention.
I liked how it opens up and introduce each character, how the Vampires are a close family with good values and looked out not only for themselves but for the whole town they live in. There was no foul language and I did like the romance between Sophia and Nathanial. I liked that their older brother Caspian, while being on his own and lost for killing the love of his life still kept looking out for his family.
In the end, it didn't take me anywhere that I have not been to before. Every page I turned, every line or paragraph I read, I found myself getting upset. I couldn't find a connection with the story or the characters.

To summarize my review, it seemed a bit redundant, predictable at times, and came off unoriginal to me; however I am going to give the series the benefit of a doubt and continue to read the series. I want to see how the characters grow, what happens to Nathaniel and Sophia, and how the story ends.

I don't like to give bad reviews, seeing as how hard it is to write a book, but I do have to give my honest opinion.

 Vengeance (The Blood Trail Chronicles)
For my review go to

Book Description
A man once told me there are infinite places love will take you, but revenge is the business of hate and there is only one place hate will take you, the end. The end of you and the end of everything you once stood for. His words still echo in my mind, next to the images of the millions of places I might have gone.
Amillia Morgenstein wants nothing but freedom. Freedom to choose the man she marries and the life she lives. She wants nothing but the boy she can never have, Maddox.
Her world is turned upside down when her brother betrays their whole family, in a deal to trade Amillia to a Duke named Herrick and overthrow their father.
Broken hearted and fleeing her burning village, she rides away on the back of her closest friend, Artan.
In a neighboring city, rumors of a red-cloaked assassin flood the streets. An assassin who targets only the rich and the wicked. The trail of blood left behind leads back to the burned out doors of a once flourishing kingdom, now ruled by a tyrant.
Broken hearted and bound by vengeance, Amillia finds herself falling for something she never thought she would have again. Grayson's blue eyes and sarcastic smile have her fighting the feelings she has, just as someone from her past reappears. She fights for her heart and the hope no one discovers her biggest secret.
How far would you go for the ones you love, the ones you lost?

I give this book...5 STARS

What a fantastic read! This book was a page turner for me I couldn't put it down, finished it in a day. The story pulls you right in from the very beginning...I was hooked! I couldn't put it down.
I won't give too much away.

This story gives you dragons; fantasy, 3 love interests, action, sexual content, betrayal and you have Vengeance. I liked how the female lead Amillia Morgenstein aside from being a princess is strong, dependent and a fighter, she can kick some arse.
After her brother's betrayal to give her to the Duke and killing their father the King so he can reign, Millia runs and hides with her best friend the dragon thinking what to do so the Duke and his men don't find her. She plans on her vengeance to kill everyone that had anything to do with hurting her family. After coming upon a small town she ends up meeting a witch and little by little things start to unravel about who she truly is. During this whole process she falls in love twice maybe even three. We'll see. Everything you thought were legends, are not in this story.

One thing that did get me, and I was a little bit upset (just a tiny bit) was the unexpected cliffhanger, I yelled...NOOO! I wanted more.

I have never read anything from Author Tara Brown this was my first book and I loved it. I truly recommend this to anyone who hasn't read it and who likes YA Fantasy/Paranormal Romance. I will be looking for Tara Browns other books and I can't wait for the second book to Vengeance.

A great start to a great series, love, friendship, deceit, two hot guys one beautiful girl and it is not even a love triangle, plus a lot of action.

I couldn't put it down, each page had me on pins and needles...wanting to see what happens next.
Can't wait to see what Pyramid of the Sun has in store for Eva & Colton.

Yesterday's Daughter by:Sallie Lundy-Frommer...
It's an amazing story of Vampires. It's not your original Vampire story this is something new an amazing. I thought I was done with all the Vampire stories, but when I read this one I couldn't put the book down, suspense, action & romance plus much, much more paranormal Sci-fi stuff, you would not believe how the author incorporated everything together. I liked the story, Liked the title, liked the characters & liked the book cover. It left me wanting more. I see a good start to a series.
