"My Serenity" book two of "My Clarity" Totally Amazing! M.Clarke pulled it off again! "My Serenity" had me in tears from beginning to end both happy and sad tears. I love this story so much I really felt it and at moments I felt like I was in the story. Seth is such a gentleman and Josie had been through so much she so deserve a hero to rescue her.

Always Been Mine By: Carina Adams

This is one story you do not want to miss out!

I was asked to read an ARC of this debut novel from a fellow blogger. As soon as I started to read the novel I immediately fell in love with the story and the characters, the love and friendship that they have. I was sucked in the story from beginning to end. The story felt so realistic and believable I laughed and cried, I got angry, I was nervous and excited, but most important I felt the love.
I never like to give away too much of the plot because I like for readers to be as surprise and excited as I was when reading and finishing the book, but the synopsis says it all. This is truly one story not to miss out on! I am looking forward to more novels from author Carina Adams. For being her first novel she did an amazing job writing it. And I give it 5 stars.

Something Great A New Adult Series By M.Clarke Be advise 18 and older. Due to sexual content.

She didn't know what she was missing…until he found her.

Maxwell Knight was positively trouble, dangerously good-looking, and seductively charming. He was everything Jenna didn't need in her life. Only Max didn't see it that way. His pursuit was relentless, making Jenna even more determined to push him away. All she wanted was security, a career, and love that was everlasting.

Fresh out of college, life was simple and plain for Jeanella Mefferd, but she liked it that way. Every part of her life was smooth sailing; her friends, her job, and even the guy she’d started dating. Then one night, while at dinner with her best friend, she spotted someone who made her feel things she’d never felt before just by his mere presence—dangerous, heart pounding, breathless heat. Thinking she would never see him again, she brushed it off, but when she started to run into him unexpectedly, all she could think of was how he made her feel with his sweet flirtations. Everything about Maxwell Knight screamed trouble, especially when she found out he was her new boss’s son. Now, heading to a New York fashion show she’d dreamt about since she was a child, would she be able to focus on her career instead of Max, who had been scheduled to attend with her? As much as she tried to forget their encounters, his good looks, charm, smooth words, and determination to win her over gravitated her toward him. The next thing she knew, he was utterly consuming her, mind and body, and in places she’d never thought possible. Would she be willing to step over the boundary and risk her safety net? Was she willing to take advice from her best friend and love hard and risk getting hurt, rather than not really love at all and possibly miss out on finding something great?

My Review
★★★★★
I was given this book from the author for an honest review and from the very start was told that it was an adult book. As I started to read the book I immediately started to like it.
The story is about Jenna, a young girl recently out of collage her life was simple and plain, and she liked it that way. Every part of her life was going at a smooth pace; her friends, her job and even the guy she is dating.
One night having dinner with her best friend she spotted this gorgeous sexy looking man (Maxwell Knight) whom she never thought he would even give her the time of day, but he made her feel things she never felt before. Everything about him said trouble, but she couldn't help the strong connection she felt towards him. Thinking she would never see him again, she brushed it off as nothing, until she started running into him at the least unexpected places.
This story is romantic, seductive and sexy with class. As I read I found myself falling in love with Max, he is just the ideal guy, has it all and a very good lover may I add. It was a page turner for me. I read it 3 times and each time I loved it even more. I love all the characters in the book as well. An adult book with class! Looking forward to book 2!
I give Something Great 5 stars.

                                         ★★★★★
Pretty Little Lies has it all, love, romance, friendship, fashion, betrayal and suspense.  A story that I believe anyone can relate to in one way or another. I was lost in this book from beginning to end. I felt every emotion that the lead character went through. I really liked how it was written. It’s also a bit hilarious and every chapter has a fashion tip. I like how it ties in with the chapters. Over all it is a BEAUTIFUL Story.
For being Jennifer Miller’s first novel she did a fantastic job. I can totally see a movie coming out from this beautiful story..
Spoiler Alert! The cliffhanger gets you good!

Can’t wait for the next book! Please hurry Jennifer Miller I don’t know how much I can take of this.

Shine: How to Walk the Talk by Nancy Segovia
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Shine How To Walk the Talk
…Is a well written book, an easy read, her chapters are short and she gets to the point. I highly recommend it to anyone who is need of God in their lives.
This book couldn’t have come to me at a better time. As I started to read the book I felt like God was sending me a message I found myself in the author’s shoes. We all long for something in our lives not realizing that that something is God and letting his light shine through us. Nancy Segovia tells us how God taught her to live so that others can see his love in her life. I kept reading & by the time I was in chapter 3 I found myself crying, not because the book is sad but because I finally understand.
I was very inspired.
Five stars for this amazingly inspiring little book.

Immortal Embrace, by: Charlotte Blackwell

★★★

Sophia, the vampire girl, and her family, all vampires, relocated to a small town to live among humans. Sophia and her siblings started going to school and on her first day, she bumped into the hottest guy named Nathaniel; who has never shown interest in girls before because he just focus on his studies and football. She doesn't understand why she is drawn to him, other than him smelling so delicious to her.

I gave it 3 stars, and here is why.

I have mixed feelings about this book. From the beginning, I was like wait a minute haven't I read this before? It felt too Twilight-ish, meets Charmed and Vampire Diaries. It was all 3 combined into one book. You have...

Vampires: They don't sparkle. They wear "a piece of jewelry" that has been blessed by a witch so they can walk in daylight, eat regular food and bring up their temperature.

Nathanial falls head over heels for Sophia instantly, and feels that they are meant to be forever. Sophia and her family have powers. They can read minds, heal, see the future, and ect.

Witches: Two of the most powerful witches that inherit their powers from all their ancestors before them, they even have their own "Book of Shadows". (Hmm now where have I seen that? Oh yea The Charmed Ones)

...and before I forget somewhere in the middle she throws in some werewolves.

What I like about this book was that when I read the summary I read that it had Vampires and Witches, immediately that caught my attention.
I liked how it opens up and introduce each character, how the Vampires are a close family with good values and looked out not only for themselves but for the whole town they live in. There was no foul language and I did like the romance between Sophia and Nathanial. I liked that their older brother Caspian, while being on his own and lost for killing the love of his life still kept looking out for his family.
In the end, it didn't take me anywhere that I have not been to before. Every page I turned, every line or paragraph I read, I found myself getting upset. I couldn't find a connection with the story or the characters.

To summarize my review, it seemed a bit redundant, predictable at times, and came off unoriginal to me; however I am going to give the series the benefit of a doubt and continue to read the series. I want to see how the characters grow, what happens to Nathaniel and Sophia, and how the story ends.

I don't like to give bad reviews, seeing as how hard it is to write a book, but I do have to give my honest opinion.
