She didn’t know what she was missing…until he found her.

Maxwell Knight was positively trouble, dangerously good-looking, and seductively charming. He was everything Jeanella didn’t need in her life. Only Maxwell didn’t see it that way. His pursuit was relentless, making her even more determined to push him away.

Fresh out of college, life was simple and plain for Jeanella Mefferd. Every part of her life was smooth sailing; her friends, her job, and even the guy she’d started dating. Then one night, while at dinner, she spotted someone who made her feel things she’d never felt before—dangerous, heart pounding and breathless heat. Thinking she would never see him again, she brushed it off, but when she started to run into him unexpectedly, all she could think of was how he made her feel with his sweet flirtations. Everything about Maxwell Knight screamed trouble, especially when she found out he was her new boss’s son. Now, heading to a New York fashion show, would she be able to focus on her career instead of Maxwell, who had been scheduled to attend with her? As much as she tried to forget their encounters, his good looks, smooth words and determination to win her over gravitated her toward him. The next thing she knew, her mind was utterly consumed by him. Would she be willing to ignore all the dangerous signs and jump into his arms? Or would she miss out on the chance of finding something great?

BOOK REVIEW -- House at the End of the Street

SO I just finished the book House at the End of the Street. The novel is by Lily Blake.  Before I tell you guys about this book. Yes, it is based on the major motion picture film with Jennifer Lawrence. Also, I got this book on July 14, 2013. I read it in days of getting it.

So here is my review on this book. It is a GREAT book. If you start reading it the book takes you through different turns. Turns that your not expecting.
Now I can't wait to see the movie. See how the book differs from the book.

I loved this book. I would recommend it to anyone who likes Horror-ish books.

Spiritual Book.

Shine: How to Walk the TalkShine: How to Walk the Talk by Nancy Segovia
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Shine How To Walk the Talk
…Is a well written book, an easy read, her chapters are short and she gets to the point. I highly recommend it to anyone who is need of God in their lives.
This book couldn’t have come to me at a better time. As I started to read the book I felt like God was sending me a message I found myself in the author’s shoes. We all long for something in our lives not realizing that that something is God and letting his light shine through us. Nancy Segovia tells us how God taught her to live so that others can see his love in her life. I kept reading & by the time I was in chapter 3 I found myself crying, not because the book is sad but because I finally understand.
I was very inspired.
Five stars for this amazingly inspiring little book.

My review for "Something Great" by M. Clarke

She didn't know what she was missing…until he found her.

Maxwell Knight was positively trouble, dangerously good-looking, and seductively charming. He was everything Jenna didn't need in her life. Only Max didn't see it that way. His pursuit was relentless, making Jenna even more determined to push him away. All she wanted was security, a career, and love that was everlasting.

Fresh out of college, life was simple and plain for Jeanella Mefferd, but she liked it that way. Every part of her life was smooth sailing; her friends, her job, and even the guy she’d started dating. Then one night, while at dinner with her best friend, she spotted someone who made her feel things she’d never felt before just by his mere presence—dangerous, heart pounding, breathless heat. Thinking she would never see him again, she brushed it off, but when she started to run into him unexpectedly, all she could think of was how he made her feel with his sweet flirtations. Everything about Maxwell Knight screamed trouble, especially when she found out he was her new boss’s son. Now, heading to a New York fashion show she’d dreamt about since she was a child, would she be able to focus on her career instead of Max, who had been scheduled to attend with her? As much as she tried to forget their encounters, his good looks, charm, smooth words, and determination to win her over gravitated her toward him. The next thing she knew, he was utterly consuming her, mind and body, and in places she’d never thought possible. Would she be willing to step over the boundary and risk her safety net? Was she willing to take advice from her best friend and love hard and risk getting hurt, rather than not really love at all and possibly miss out on finding something great?

My Review
★★★★★
I was given this book from the author for an honest review and from the very start was told that it was an adult book. As I started to read the book I immediately started to like it.
The story is about Jenna, a young girl recently out of collage her life was simple and plain, and she liked it that way. Every part of her life was going at a smooth pace; her friends, her job and even the guy she is dating.
One night having dinner with her best friend she spotted this gorgeous sexy looking man (Maxwell Knight) whom she never thought he would even give her the time of day, but he made her feel things she never felt before. Everything about him said trouble, but she couldn't help the strong connection she felt towards him. Thinking she would never see him again, she brushed it off as nothing, until she started running into him at the least unexpected places.
This story is romantic, seductive and sexy with class. As I read I found myself falling in love with Max, he is just the ideal guy, has it all and a very good lover may I add. It was a page turner for me. I read it 3 times and each time I loved it even more. I love all the characters in the book as well. An adult book with class! Looking forward to book 2!
I give Something Great 5 stars.

 Author bio:

Angee was born in Houston, Texas in 1977, to an interesting family. Her mother and father separated when she was young. She lived with her
mother who later remarried a wonderful man, who had a huge impact on her as she grew up. Angee has always had a love of reading, mostly paranormal. As a child, she would sneak up at late night when her mom thought she was sleeping, to read. They moved around a lot, eventually settling in Deep East Texas. Angee married at a young age and eventually divorced. She has raised her now 15 year old son alone. Angee works full time as a pre-hospital nurse and sometimes sees things that would make the rest of us have nightmares. On other days, she is blessed to see miracles. These things are what drive her to write.  Angee describes her job as- “I fight to save people’s lives. Sometimes I lose, sometimes I win. It's the emotional roller coaster of that job, which leads me to writing. I'm able to put those emotions into my characters and let them out of my heart and soul.” In 2006, she was diagnosed with a rare disease, shortly after that she was told she would be on full disability in five years and most likely to be dead in ten. She’s fought to live a normal life every day sinceand is beating those odds. She works at a demanding job, is a single mom, cares for an elderly mother, and a hyperactive dog. Her life has inspired her Paranormal novel Hidden Secrets. Sit back and enjoy.
