My review for " I Am Wolf: The Children of Nox by Joann H. Buchanan

(Synopsis of the book)

Angel, hero, monster, demon--we all become what we really are.
Jonah has been sent to the Native American Reservation in Sisters Oregon to live with his grandparents. What should be the most boring move in his entire life turns into an adventure that will last a lifetime. There he learns the one secret his family has kept from him and joins a group of friends called The Youngling Pack.
Though his whole life has been turned upside down, he manages to fall in love with Alaynee, his best friend's fraternal twin sister. When Alaynee's little brother, Squeaks is kidnapped by a poacher, Jonah comes to the rescue--only to find himself face to face with the dark side of the gift he has been given. He breaks the most sacred rule the clan has, Never Bite A Human--and thus creates a creature he must track down and kill.

I give this book...

I was captivated by the Authors book. I really enjoyed it! This book has everything, love, friendship, magic, action, heartbreak and suspense. It is full of magic and it takes you to places; beautiful and magical places. She gives you different point of views. You go from one scene to another but the story always coincides within. The romance is absolutely beautiful. The action is awesome and the magic is just amazing. You have your hero Jonah and his pack, and the evil entity Ralph that the hero Jonah created by accident, and it has a thirst to kill.
I liked how Joann made Ralph seem so evil, ugly & horrific. It gives it this scary movie kind of feeling in some parts; at least it did for me. As I was reading I kept telling myself this would make an awesome movie! I have to admit that I did cry a little towards the end of the book. It is very descriptive and well written; I can’t wait to read the second book. I highly recommend this book to everyone. Well done Joann!
